gamescom 2012: eSports premiere of Firefall at the ESL Arena

The first Firefall Beta tournament – Qualifiers and Final held at the gaming area of the ESL Arena – 10.000 Euro up for grabs

Cologne, 3rd of August, 2012 – The Electronic Sports League (ESL) and Red 5 (makers of the Free to Play online action shooter Firefall) are offering the visitors to gamescom a first: All supporters and fans of electronic sports (eSports) will be able to take part on Europe’s first Firefall Beta Tournament! (taking place from 15th to 19th of August in Cologne, Germany). The registration and tournament phases will start on the 16th of August at the gaming stage at the ESL Arena (hall 8). The final showdown, along with 10.000 Euros prize money, will take place on Saturday, 18th of August on the immense ESL Stage for over ten thousand visitors and millions of spectators watching Live Video Streams. The web broadcaster ESL TV will transmit the finals live at www.esl.tv.
