ESL broadcasts 24/7 program in cooperation with make.tv and announces longterm partnership

(Cologne, Germany) September 9, 2015 - At this year’s IBC, the world’s largest esports company, ESL, and make.tv are presenting a new and jointly developed cloud-based 24/7 TV playout module. The new tech solution has already been successfully implemented into two of ESL’s live 24/7 esports channels on Twitch, with more esports and gaming channels to follow shortly.

ESL and make.tv jointly developed a special edition of the make.tv live video cloud, tailored to the needs of gaming broadcasts. The 24/7 playout module is the first result of that collaboration, with more cloud based live production apps and tools for the global esports market to follow.

ESL will, in cooperation with make.tv, offer technology solutions geared towards esports for flexible programming on streaming platforms, unique content and tailor-made licensing packages. By leveraging the flexibility of the playout technology, along with global TV licensing models and the production capabilities of ESL, the duo aims to increase the standard of broadcast productions in the industry with its newly developed tech offering. The 24/7 playout module is cloud based and therefore truly global; capable of broadcasting to Twitch, YouTube and any other live streaming platform on the market, in parallel. The application will enable ESL and its clients to create compelling 24/7 programs with pre-produced content as well as livestreams.

Key features include easy-to-use scheduling and programing of channels, fully integrated live in- and output solutions und the automation of instream commercials. Furthermore the playout module includes flexible collaboration-ready asset and playlist management.
