Job description

Your future tasks:


  • Produce, plan and deliver live studio and remote event broadcasts to an exceptional standard
  • Work closely with the Production team, Technical Managers and Executive Producer to develop and maintain a production workflow, show rota, and create practises that help keep the studio in an exceptional standard of maintenance
  • Work directly with product managers to turn conceptual plans into reality
  • Take on full responsibility for the technical design, rehearsal and live execution of broadcasts or events, including managing broadcast assets, hiring contractors, producing planning documentation, and being a key part of the live broadcast workflow
  • Work with other international ESL studios to maintain parity and create best practises
  • Manage contractors/freelancers/training/assist in hiring new personnel 

Job requirements

Must haves:


  • Excellent knowledge in video games and esports
  • Three years’ experience working in online/web/esports live broadcast
  • Experience managing and leading a team
  • Confidence and experience in working with the following video mixing tools:
    • Blackmagic ATEM & Ross Carbonite (or other video switcher)
    • CasparCG & Ross Xpression (or other GFX system)
    • JustMacros & X-keys
    • OBS & Xsplit
    • Understanding of networking over Ethernet 
  • Understanding of SDI based cameras and workflows
  • Understanding of video and audio formats, scaling, converting and routing
  • Understanding of DMX lighting control
  • Able to work under pressure and to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English



Nice to have:


  • Experience in a professional studio environment, OB trucks and production studio
  • Experience in broadcast systems development (e.g. systems automation, custom software development)
  • Some knowledge in computer programming (such as C/.NET/PHP etc)
  • Experience with IP based video feeds, RTSP/TRMP/RTMP specifically and online streaming standards
