Job description

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Publisher & Developer Sales, the Associate Partnership Manager works independently and collaboratively to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong account relationships, working effectively with partners to ‘know their business’ and provide ‘first point of contact
  • Assist Director and Senior Manager on creating inter-company reports; working across teams to gather relevant information
  • Research and develop a list of potential sponsors, exhibitors for ESL’s portfolio of events and products
  • Maintain high level of service toward all clients and sponsors
  • Work with business development team to manage wholly integrated marketing/sponsor solutions
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics/prepare reports on account status
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with multiple local departments and global offices to ensure streamlined communication and goals across accounts
  • Assist in preparation of sales materials for ESL opportunities as well as external facing reports for key clients
  • Maintain knowledge of and manage expectations surrounding event timelines and sponsorship deadlines
  • Ensure highest quality implementation of sponsorship programs
  • Manage sponsor delegation experience at ESL events
  • Performs other administrative duties as required (scheduling meetings, travel condition, conference calls, tracking schedules of key team members)
  • Professionally represent ESL at all times
  • Create and learn role-related processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Keep abreast of changes in area(s) of expertise and responsibility via participation in ongoing professional development and training as determined in collaboration with primary supervisor and Human Resources team
  • Perform other duties, functions, responsibilities, projects and provide assistance as necessary

Job requirements

Must haves:

  • One (1) year prior sponsorship or sales experience, experience in a marketing position with a consumer brand, agency, media/sports property or similar account management position preferred
  • Commercial education or equivalent Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent language skills in English
  • Willing to travel
  • Experience working in esports entertainment, broadcasting or other entertainment industry is preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

  • Able to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment
